As the proud founder and President of The Universe Unfolds. I am a catalyst and teacher at my core and enjoy helping others help themselves. I am passionate about learning and self development. I believe we all want to feel acceptance, approval, safety and love. With my gifts of intuition, openness, caring, life skills and education I feel I can help others find that in themselves.

Prior to founding The Universe Unfolds, I spent 20 years in the finance and service industries where I held a number of management positions including training, office management, internal audit, human relations, customer relations and fundraising.

While both working and being a single mother for ten years, and subsequently re-marrying, I experienced many challenges a career woman faces: the pressures of balancing work and family, motivating myself and others while continuing to develop myself. I know the importance of someone being there who can listen and yet be objective.

I have been involved with helping women and networking for most of my adult life. In previous incarnations I was President of Montreal Women's Network, co-founder of Candiac Wednesday Group, member of OWL (Ottawa Women's Lobby), NAC (National Action Committee on the Status of Women, as well as a number of other organizations.

Currently I am a meditation teacher; life coach although I prefer catalyst; Co-President with my husband, Russ, of the Niagara Supper and Dance Club; and on the Advisory Board for the St. Catharines chapter of Company of Women, a business and networking organization for women.

Meditation has had a huge impact on my life and is something anyone can do without it being as challenging as so many believe it to be. The health benefits at all levels are so rewarding.

I am driven to share my journey through blogging, poetry, and public speaking. If in the sharing I can have a positive impact on one person then it makes the journey that more worthwhile. I also write articles related to spirituality and self-development most of which come from my connection to nature or awarenesses from my meditation practice.

One thing I know for sure is my life is significantly enhanced when I live it in gratitude and how my Universe Unfolds as a result.
